Effective July 1, 2019, the Housing Authority of the County of Contra Costa will be assuming management responsibilities for approximately 1,700 Housing Choice Vouchers currently administered by the Richmond Housing Authority (RHA). The transfer is being completed to improve the level of customer service to participating voucher holders, landlords, and applicants, while also providing access to additional housing choices for program participants. We expect no interruption of services for the participants (residents and landlords) on the program or on the Waiting Lists.
